Welcome Sellers! Announcements
Updated October 4, 2010
For More information please contact your Kyozou account manager eBay Custom Item Specifics As most of you already know, eBay has started requiring custom item specifics to be assigned in more categories. Eventually sometime in 2011, eBay will discontinue displaying original eBay-defined attributes and will transition to a custom items specifics only environment – this is something all sellers must prepare for. Kyozou has implemented functionality to allow for the selection and creation of custom item specifics should the selected category support them. When entering or updating your inventory, should you select an eBay category which supports custom item specifics, you will see the ChangeCustomSpecifics button displayed in the same section from which you can set appropriate custom values related to your item. We strongly advise that moving forwards, you define custom item specifics for every new item you add into your inventory. This will avoid any possible reconfiguration of your products in the future once the custom specifics become mandatory. ![]() For more information please contact your Kyozou account manager. Updated September 22, 2010 eBay Duplicate listings policy Starting October 26 eBay will start enforcing a new Duplicate Listing policy to prevent search results from being dominated by multiple duplicate listings of the same item from the same seller. The item offered in a Fixed Price listing must be significantly different from items offered in other Fixed Price listings. Sellers can have one Fixed Price listing per identical item. Multiples of an item must be sold in a single multi-quantity Fixed Price listing. Also, starting October 26, eBay will automatically end duplicate Fixed Price listings. Sellers who continue to create duplicate listings for identical items may be subject to a range of additional actions including listing cancellation, loss of fees, limits on account privileges, loss of seller status, and account suspension. We ask that you contact your Kyozou Account Manager to discuss any changes to your eBay listing strategy in light of these new policies. Updated July 08, 2010 Kyozou supports EBAY Item Condition - Kyozou is happy to announce support for eBay's Item Condition. Describing your item's condition is a key ingredient in your listing. Tell people exactly what they're getting. Mention even the smallest flaws so they know what to expect. It also reduces the chances of the buyer saying your item was not as described. When preparing your items to be eBay ready, an Item Condition drop down menu will be provided once an eBay category is selected. Although the options vary by eBay category, the Item Condition drop-down menu lets you specify the products condition appropriately. For example, the condition choices for clothing include New with tags, New without tags, New with defects, and Pre-owned. As per eBay, as of July 27 sellers will be required to specify item condition with the new values when listing, re-listing, or selling similar in the affected categories.
